Mallya now part-owner of F1 team

Vijay Mallya, chairman of United Breweries Holdings, is part of the consortium to which the Dutch sports car maker Spyker Cars has agreed to sell its Formula One team. Spyker sold the team for $124 million.

United Breweries recently bought a 50% stake in Epic Aircraft for $120 million (about Rs 480 crore). 

UB Group owns the full-service carrier Kingfisher Airlines and also holds 46% in Deccan Aviation.
