PEC eyes Rs 180 cr turnover this financial year

After expanding its facility for manufacturing acoustic enclosures and gensets at Tuem Industrial Estate in Goa, Power Engineering Corporation (PEC), is expecting an additional turnover of Rs 180 crore in next financial year.
 
The company was expecting to earn 20 per cent total turnover through exports, Atul Pai Kane, group CEO, PEC said.
 
"We will be targeting the UK and the Middle East by end of this year," Kane said after inaugurating the extended facility at Tuem Industrial Estate.
 
"Our vision is to be a global player in the energy industry. We have a mission to offer eco-friendly power solutions," said Ravi Murthy, Koel's senior official.
 
Kane also said, "The ISO 9001 PEC will become EMS 14001-certified company for its environmental friendliness by end of 2006".
