Pidilite buys Dubai-based chem firm UCC

Pidilite Industries has acquired Dubai-based company UCC, manufacturer of construction chemical brand "Probuild" for an undisclosed amount.

The company had recently acquired 75% stake in Singapore-based Chemson Asia, a specialised water proofing and protective coatings company. It also completely acquisition of construction chemical brand "Roff" with a view to strengthen its position in the domestic market, a company release said.

"We plan to expand our range of products with an aim to offer complete solutions for various construction related activites," said Sanjay Bahadur, CEO of the company.
