SRL Ranbaxy rechristened as Super Religare Lab

Pathology Lab chain SRL Ranbaxy today said it has rechristened itself as Super Religare Laboratorier (SRL) Ltd.     

"The rebranding exercise is a significant move to take our interest in diagnostics space to the next level ... We intend extending the brand values and brand equity to various services within our promoter group, encompassing diagnostics, wellness retail and IT technology," Religare CEO and the spokesperson of the promoter group Sunil Godhwani said in a statement here.     

Currently, the Religare brand umbrella comprises diversified business like financial & IT services, air charter and travel.     

Earlier this month, the company had also announced the rechristening of Pharmacy chain Fortis Healthworld as Religare Wellness, extending the brand to the pharmacy domain, SRL Ranbaxy said.
