Suzlon back in black, Q2 net at Rs 48 cr

Wind power company Suzlon Energy today announced a turnaround in net profit at Rs 48 crore for the quarter ended September 2011. For the corresponding period a year ago the company reported a net loss of Rs 369 crore.

Consolidated income from operations also rose 35% to Rs 5,071 crore from Rs 3,772 crore in year-ago period.

At the time of BSE closing on Friday, the stock was trading at Rs 36, down 0.41%.
