Talbros net up 90% to Rs 1.50 cr
 
Talbros has posted a net profit grew 90 per cent from to Rs 0.79 crore to Rs 1.50 crore in the present quarter ended September 30, 2005. Total income of has gone up by 17 per cent to Rs 30.13 crore as compared with Rs 25.60 crore reported in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
 
Operating profit has shown a rise of 40.32 per cent to Rs 3.55 crore as compared to Rs 2.53 crore, with a profit before tax of Rs 2 crore as against Rs 1.15 crore reported last year.
 
Raymonds Q2 net up 15%
 
Raymonds has posted a 15 per cent increase in its net profit for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005, at Rs 37 crore compared with Rs 32 crore in the corresponding period last fiscal. Revenues increased by 7 per cent to Rs 373 crore over Rs 348 crore.
 
Saregama posts 142% net growth
 
Continuing its turnaround process, entertainment major Saregama India reported a 142 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 3.14 crore. The sequential profit growth in the second quarter of the current fiscal compared with the first quarter also showed a 47 per cent rise, while the first half profit, at Rs 5.28 crore, was 144 per cent higher. Saregama, the country's largest music company, had suffered losses in the previous fiscal.
 
SBM net up 20% to Rs 515.29 cr
 
The State Bank of Mysore has registered a net profit of Rs 515.29 crore for the quarter ended September 2005. This is an increase of 20.12 per cent over the corresponding quarter of previous year figure of Rs 428.97 crore.
 
Total income has increased by 16.22 per cent to reach Rs 399.08 crore from Rs 343.36 crore. The percentage of net NPA has decreased from 1.59 per cent to 1.03 per cent.
