Usha Shriram targets 20% sales growth

Water purifiers company, Usha Shriram, is expecting a sales growth of 20 per cent this year, from Rs 250 crore right now, led by new products specially designed based on modern requirements.

To this end, the company has also invested in increasing its production capacity by an additional 2,50,000 units per annum.

Anupam Bharat, managing director of Usha Shriram, said, “We had three plants located close to Delhi and a capacity of 2,00,000 units per annum. Now we have set up a fourth plant near Delhi which would have an additional capacity of 2,50,000 units per annum.”

The company has launched a new Usha Brita storage water purifier — Water Guard Crystal comes - at Rs 1799. Based on the G-Boiling Technology, this 17 liter water purifier is an offline purifier, made out of food grade plastic that removes excess iron, turbidity, bacteria, viruse & cysts. It also comes with a manual indicator for cartridge change and water can be stored upto 48 hours after purification because of its bacteriostatic mechanism.
