Zte Corp Bags $50m Bsnl Order

ZTE Corporation, a $1.4 billion Chinese telecom major, has bagged a $50 million order from the state-owned basic and cellular operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL).

ZTE executives said the company has received validation of its CDMA 1X equipment by BSNL.

The validation has been achieved for both terminal testing and network equipment. Telecom Engineering Center (TEC), the government-approved body for validating such equipment, conducted the test as per BSNL
