Growth of agriculture during 2007-08 will be significantly increased to around 3.5 per cent from the advanced estimate of 2.6 per cent, Pronab Sen, chief statistician of India said today.

</p><p class='TableClas'>The revised estimates of national income for 2007-08 is scheduled to be released on Friday. As for the advanced estimate, GDP grew by 8.7 per cent during the same year.</P></p></table>
