Firm targets risk mgmt professionals

Professional Risk Managers International Association (PRMIA), a non-profit association dedicated to advance standards of risk professionals in the financial sector, intends to bring more professionals from the banking and IT sectors in India under its training programme.
 
PRMIA, which offers globally endorsed Professional Risk Manager (PRM) certification programme, conducts online courses in risk management practices.
 
"In India, so far, 155 professionals have taken the online test while another 385 have enrolled for the course. We intend to enroll at least 800 professionals from India this year," PRMIA COO David Millar stated.
 
The PRMIA has three chapters in India "" Bangalore, Hyderabad and Mumbai. It intends to open two more chapters in Delhi and Kolkata.
