Industrial pump trade fair in Hyd from Oct 5

Hyderabad will host the IPVS (Industrial Pumps, Valves and Systems) fair trade 2007, from October 5.

The three-day event, touted as Asia's biggest, will see participation of over 130 exhibitors from 14 countries, including the US, Germany, UK, Italy, Holland, Sweden and Switzerland.

The fair will showcase products and services from leaders like Grundfos, Sulzer, Kiroloskar and L&T. Around, 3,000 business visitors, including 150 from abroad, are expected to take part in event.

The event, besides providing a platform for showcasing Indian capabilities, will provide a glimpse of the latest developments and trends around the world in the domain of industrial pumps, valves and process plant systems.

An international conference "� IPVS prospects and initiatives for 2020 "� will concurrently address issues of national and global concern through presentations by leading experts from the industry across the globe, SL Abhyankar, project director, IPVS, told mediapersons.

The pump industry in India is pegged at Rs 5,000 crore and is growing at 15 per cent annually.
