Kerala to have 1st e-literate district soon

 The Wi-Fi initiative in the district has been deployed by Tulip IT Services Limited, a Rs 210-crore New Delhi-based systems and network integrator.

 This achievement is part of the Akshaya, a project of the Kerala State IT Mission initiated in November 2002 with an aim that at least one member of every family right down to the remotest village should be a computer literate.
