Logistics council plans national meet

| Asian Council of Logistics Management (ACLM) is organising its fourth national convention "Logistics tomorrow""players, platforms and processes" in the city. |
| ACLM was expecting around 120 delegates from the corporate world logistics service providers, multimodal transport organisations, freight forwarders, AAI, various airlines and port trust and railways to attend the convention. |
| Key speakers would include Asok Mookerjee (chairman""Indo-Canadian Business Chambers), A K Chandra (chairman of Kolkata Port Trust), P K Bisnoi (managing director of Balmer Lawrie) and Ranjan Ghosh, professor at the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. |
| The convention would highlight the implementations of effective logistics and supply chain management aiming at customer satisfaction and right sizing cost. |
| Bhaskar Chaudhuri, vice president ACLM said, the convention would bring about awareness about logistics by doing away with the misconceptions. |
