Pharma marketing meet on Feb 7

Institute for Technology and Management(ITM), a city-based business school, will organise a one-day national seminar-cum-workshop on pharma marketing here in city on February 7.
 
The seminar will be organised in association with Fapcci, BDMA and Indian Pharmaceutical Association(IPA), Hyderabad Chapter.
 
The convention is organised in the backdrop of India joining the bandwagon of nations which adhere to the WTO norms. This would herald the beginning of a new era for the pharmaceutical industry.
 
Keeping pace with the developments and changes, Indian pharma majors have been moving ahead, restructuring and revamping their marketing strategies. The day-long convention will bring together the best marketing brains from the industry on a common platform to share, deliberate, debate, evolve and strategise for future," said Aswani Kumar, the director of ITM.
 
"The Indian pharma industry is today in the forefront of India's science-based industries with wide ranging capabilities in the complex field of drug manufacture and technology. The convention will focus on steps to be taken to strengthen the industry for their sustained future growth. ITM would like to contribute in its own small way by making a conscious effort to shoulder the responsibility as a facilitator for the seminar," he said.
 
Representatives, research scholars and policy-makers from organisations like Dr Reddy's Labs, Sun Pharma, BE Ltd, Bharat Biotech, Lupin, FDC Ltd will participate in the meet.
