Productronica expecting 12 Indian Exhibitors

Productronica 2005, the German electronics trade fair is expecting 125 visitors from India, including participation from 12 Indian electronic exhibitors. The trade fair will take place at Munich, Germany, from November 5-18, 2005.
 
The Indo-German Chamber of Commerce will be booking an India pavilion at the exhibition site where six exhibitors could be accommodated. Indian exhibitors would be able to book stalls on a 9 or 12 square metre area.
 
"The exhibitor will be charged Rs 2 lakh on pavilion basis, which include stall build up and accommodation for one person," said a senior representative of Munich Trade Fairs in India.
 
"Productronica 2003 exhibition showed participation from 1,535 exhibitors and 42,700 attendees on a floor space of 121,000 square metres. More than 108 visitors from India appeared for Productonica 2003," said Kurt Schraudy, Senior Executive Officer, Messe Munchen International (MMI), the organiser of the exhibition.
 
Productronica 2005 will show participation from Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and component production to micro and nano technology, from assembly to measurement, testing technology and electronic manufacturing services.
 
The event is presenting micro and nano technology in a new exhibition area, which will be set up for the first time in November 2005: MicroNanoWorld.
 
The event will show the current production technologies for miniaturised products employed in automotive industry, machine construction, medical device technology, electronics and communication technology.
 
Meanwhile, MMI will also organise Componex/ElectronicIndia 2006, the 11 th International Conference and exhibition of electronic components and hardware in New Delhi during January 2006. Electronics Today, a leading monthly journal, will be the co-organiser of the event.
