SFAC to observe Black Day at FACT
It urged the government to provide natural gas to FACT on a par with other fertiliser companies

The Save FACT Action Committee (SFAC) will observe 'Black Day' on April 4 in protest against the inordinate delay in announcing the financial package.
K Muraleedharan, chairman, and K Chandran Pillai, convenor of the committee, said though finance minister had cleared the revival package on March 4, its sanctioning (Rs 991.1 crore) by the Cabinet had been delayed by a month.
They urged the government to provide natural gas to FACT on a par with other fertiliser companies. FACT should be exempted from VAT by the Kerala government for receiving LNG.
