Amadeus Unveils Travel Risk Product

Amadeus India, a national marketing company of the Madrid-quartered Amadeus Global Travel Distribution, today announced the launch of an integrated insurance reservation and travel assistance product for the Indian market.

Called Amadeus Travel Assistance (ATA), the product marks the foray of Amadeus in the travel insurance segment not only in India, but also in Asia. The product will be formally available in India in two weeks.

ATA is a fully automated product that enables travel agents to offer insurance services along with the traditional travel services through the Amadeus system.
