Cid Turns Heat On Charminar Bank Borrowers

The Crime Investigation Department (CID) of Andhra Pradesh today faxed messages to all immigration authorities at different airports in the country to prevent any of the 40-odd borrowers of the struggling Charminar Urban Cooperative Bank from leaving the country.
Details of the passports held by these borrowers, collected from the office of the regional passport office, were also provided to the immigration authorities.
Meanwhile, the CID carried out a second raid at the residence of the bank
