Corp Bank FY07 consolidated net at Rs 516cr

Corporation Bank today reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 516.19 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 443 crore in FY06.

According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, total income moved up to Rs 4,002.86 crore from Rs 3,121.03 crore in FY06.

The bank, on a stand-alone basis, posted a net profit of Rs 118.47 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2007 as against Rs 100.27 crore in Q4FY06. Total income was Rs 1,142.65 crore where as the same was Rs 838.47 crore in Q4FY06.

The bank posted a net profit of Rs 536.14 crore for the year ended March 31, 2007 where as the same was Rs 444.46 crore in FY06. Total income was Rs 3,996 crore where as the same was Rs 3,100.03 crore in FY06.

"Since figures for the yearly financial results include the impact of amalgamation, these are not comparable to the previous period figures,"the release added.
