Corporation Bank rolls out award for SMEs

Enthused by the response to the National SME Excellence Award, Corporation Bank has launched Corp Excel 2008 "" National mSME Excellence Awards 2008.

All mSMEs "" micro, small and medium enterprises "" are eligible to participate along with mid-corporates with annual turnover of over Rs 100 crore.

In a press release the bank said, once the entries are received, it will select the outstanding players based on the triple bottomline concept of economic, environmental and social performance.

The bank has identified 10 categories for the award and a separate award will be there for micro-enterprises and mid-corporates.

The winners will be decided through an independent and transparent process, it said.
