Dhanlaxmi Bank hikes base rate by 50 bps

Dhanlaxmi Bank has announced an increase of 50 basis points in its base rate and the bench-mark prime lending rate (BPLR) with effect from October 9. The new base rate would be 7.5 per cent per annum, up from the current 7 per cent, and the BPLR will be 16.5 per cent per annum, a press release said.
