Cauvery Kalpatharu Grameen Bank, the State Bank of Mysore-sponsored regional rural bank has reported a net profit of Rs 25.61 crore on a turnover of Rs 2,250 crore for the year-ended March 31, a growth of 21.51 per cent compared to the previous financial year.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>The bank, with a network of 203 branches has disbursed Rs 647.50 crore credit during the year, a growth of 21 per cent over the previous year. The advances stood at Rs 1,009.97 crore registering a growth of 28.90 per cent over the last financial year. 
</p><p class='TableClas'>During the year the bank has credit-linked 5.065 new self help groups and extended repeat finance to 5,757 groups. For the year 2008-09, Cauvery Kalpatharu bank has set a target of achieving 26 per cent growth in total business to touch Rs 2,850 crore. It plans to open 15 new branches. </P></p><p class='TableClas'></p></table>
