Kotak Mahindra AMC launches credit opportunities fund

Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund launches Kotak Credit Opportunities Fund, an open-ended debt scheme that aims to capture opportunities across the yield curve and issuers with marginally higher level of risk.

The scheme would be flexible to take higher exposure to a particular security based on the risk-reward ratio. The new fund offer opens today, closes April 30.

The investment objective of the scheme is to generate income by investing in debt/money market securities across the yield curve and credit spectrum.

The scheme would also seek to maintain reasonable liquidity within the fund. The bechmark index for this fund is CRISIL Short Term Bond Index.

 

The fund will charge 2 per cent exit load if redeemed or switch-out within 1 year from date of allotment. If the investor redeems/ switches-out after 1 year, there will be no exit load.

Kotak Mahindra asset management company (AMC) manages debt assets worth more than Rs 29,679. 88 crore (as on March 31).
