R S Reddy is exec director of Union Bank

The Union Bank of India today appointed R S Reddy as executive director.

According to an official release, Reddy has over three decades of experience as a banker in multifarious assignments as regional manager and general manager in Karnataka, Goa, Andhra Pradesh and Maharashtra.

Reddy also had a three-and-a-half year stint as chief executive of Bank of India's US operations in New York. Since his July 2005 return from the US, Reddy has been serving in the asset recovery department of
Union Bank, the release said.
