SBI internet banking to remain shut for 12 hrs tomorrow

The downtime will be over around 8 am on December 16

Customers of India's largest bank SBI will not be able to use internet banking facilities for 12 hours from 8 pm tomorrow.

"Due to scheduled maintenance activity, State Bank internet banking services will not be available from 8 pm on December 15 to 8 am on December 16," according to the SMS sent by the bank to its customers.

SBI's internet banking portal provides personal banking services including online fund transfer.

SBI has about 1.03 crore internet banking users.
