South Indian Bank to raise more capital

| The board of directors of South Indian Bank will meet on March 31, 2005 to consider a proposal for raising more capital by issuing shares. According to a release issued by the bank to the BSE today, the board will also fix a date for an EGM to clear the proposal. |
