The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has approved the appointment of Shri Suresh Chandra as Secretary, Department of Legal Affairs.

Shri Suresh Chandra, an officer of Indian Legal Service, is currently Additional Secretary in the Department of Legal Affairs in the Ministry of Law & Justice.
