VICE PRESIDENT INTERACTS WITH WINNERS OF 'INSPIRE AWARD PROGRAMMEFOR 2014'

The Vice President of India Shri M. Hamid Ansari interacted with the winners of the INSPIRE Award Programme for the year 2014, who called on him here today. The Secretary, Department of Science and Technology Shri K. Vijayraghvan, senior officers of DST and a few former INSPIRE Award winners were present on the occasion.

These 16 award winner children (4 National award winners and 12 Regional award winners) have been conferred awards at a National Award Presentation Ceremony this morning.

Interacting with the award winner students, the Vice President said that we are living in a fortunate country and our unity in diversity is denoted by the denomination of an India Rupee Note written on it in many Indian languages. He called upon the winner students to use their scientific temper for more such inventions. He wished them good success in their future.
