ASBM to host meet

Asian School of Business Management (ASBM), one of the front ranking B-school of eastern India, will be hosting the prestigious National Management Seminar (NMS'07) on the theme "Globalizing Business: Inventing and Reinventing Strategy." The event will be inaugurated on 22nd September by Member of Prime Minister's Advisory Council, Dr. Swami Parthasarathy.
 
In the inaugural session, Chairman of KKCL and reputed industrialist Kewalchand P.Jain and the Managing Director of State Bank of Indore C. Narasimhan will be the Guests of Honour.
 
The seminar has four sub-themes namely, Value Creation through HR, Financial Performances: Measurement and evaluation, Business @ CRM and e-governance. Eminent dignitaries both from industry and academia will be addressing the technical sessions.
 
The list of prominent speakers includes K.K. Nohria, Former Chairman, Crompton Greaves; Bijay Sahoo, President and Chief People Officer, Reliance Retail; Pranati Mishra, Vice President, ICICI Lombard.; Prof. Prafulla Agnihotri, IIM Calcutta; Prof. Dillip Bandopadhyay, Director, IIFM, Bhopal, Dr. K. P. Kumar, Executive Director, Lanco Infratech, B L Bagra, Director (Finance) Nalco, Prof Jitendra Das, Dean, IIM-Lucknow (Noida Campus), Abhiram Krishna, Head, Strategic Business & Relationship Learning, Satyam School of Leadership; M.S. Manohar, Vice President, HR, Karvy Consulting; Mohan Prasad, Vice President, GMR Group, C.T. Bhadran, General Manager, HCL Technology & Prof T. Ravikumar, IIM, Bangalore.
 
Most of the leading B-schools of the country and industrial houses have been invited to participate in the national seminar. People both from industry and academia will be deliberating upon the analytical exposition of the overarching theme of globalization.
