IIM-A meet on quota in September

But IIM-Bangalore has expressed inability to implement reservation this year

While IIM-B has already expressed its inability to implement the reservation quota this year, IIM-A has decided to decide the matter in its board meeting to be held in September.

"As of now we have not made any decisions but would be in a better position to decide during the course of the board meeting where we would decide all the implications of the reservation, " said Bakul Dholakia, Director IIM-A.

The meeting with the IIM-A board of directors is scheduled to be held on September 29 on the campus. IIM-B has stated lack of infrastructure and faculty as the main hurdles for the proposed reservation.

These restraints, according to Dholakia, is common for all the IIMs and would have to be considered while deciding on the reservation implementation.
