IIMB's course for women

| The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore's (IIMB) summer programme for women entrepreneurs, organised in association with the Nadathur S Raghavan Centre for Entrepreneurial Learning (NSRCEL), is doing well and this year it will be held from April 18 to May 31. It seeks to encourage, empower and educate women entrepreneurs to set up business enterprises. |
| The programme is coordinated by IIMB faculty "" Anjana Vivek, V Nagadevara and Ganesh N Prabhu. Held every summer from 2004, it requires participants to prepare a business plan for their proposed enterprise. |
| Many participants of previous programmes have taken their business plan forward and have started new enterprises or have enabled the growth of their ongoing enterprise. |
| According to a press release, the programme is specifically designed for women entrepreneurs who are interested in starting their first business enterprise and focusses on enabling them to identify viable business opportunities. |
| Prizes will be awarded for the best business plans. The programme will have 80 sessions covering all management subjects of relevance to women entrepreneurs including economics, industry analysis, business planning, business strategy and product development. |
