NMIMS grad bags $70k job

A Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS) graduate has bagged an international job offer with a pay packet of $70000 (Rs 31.15 lakh) from an MNC bank.
 
The highest domestic offer made is Rs 14.25 lakh by a consultancy firm. The average domestic compensation stood at Rs 8.85 lakh for the year.The international placement at the institute has also gone up with more than three firms approaching it this year as compared to two last year.
 
ICICI Bank, Macquarie Bank and Global eProcure were among the companies which offered the highest pay packet offering postings in Canada, Australia and America. Banking and Financial sector recruited 34 per cent of students, IT sector 24 per cent and Consultancy 7 per cent.
 
DAE India Centre
 
Dubai-based university, Dubai Aerospace Enterprise (DAE), which will set up its India centre this October, is offering ten individual scholarships across two of its masters courses, aimed at aspiring postgraduate students from across the globe.
 
Four scholarships are being offered for the university's MSc course in airport planning and management. Six scholarships are being offered for the MSc course in aerospace vehicle design.
 
The university would also offer MSC courses in aerospace vehicle design, airport planning and management, airport transport management, logistics and supply chain.
 
All the courses will be validated by Cranfield University and utilise a team of Cranfield's specialist tutors, based in Dubai, working with reputed international lecturers.
