Bharti Airtel gains on pulling out of MTN deal

The company ended talks with MTN after failing to overcome differences over ownership and management. The counter witnessed a turnover of 5.92 lakh shares, a bit less than the two-week average of 6.15 lakh shares.
The stock hit an intraday high of Rs 872 and a low of Rs 839. It made a 52-week high of Rs 1,149 on October 10, 2007 and a 52-week low of Rs 700 on January 22, 2008.
