Gur closes steady on some support

The wholesale gur (jaggery) market finished unchanged in the national capital today following sporadic demand along with restricted supply. 

Muzaffarnagar and Muradnagar gur market also closed steady in thin trade. 

Market analysts said small buying support and restricted supply mainly kept gur prices unaltered.

Following were today's quotations per quintal:

Chakku Rs 2,700-2,800, pedi Rs 2,900-3,000, Dhayya Rs 3,000-3,100, and Shakkar Rs 3,100-3,200
Muzaffarnagar: Raskat Rs 2,300-2,375, chakku Rs 2,450-2,650 and Khurpa Rs 2,450-2,500
Muradnagar: Pedi Rs 2,600-2,675 and Dhaya Rs 2,750-2,850
