Barring weakness in kabli gram, which fell by Rs 50 per quintal, other commodities continued to trade around previous level in the wholesale pulses market today, in the absence of worthwhile buying activity.
Traders said sluggish demand at prevailing levels against adequate stocks mainly led to the fall in kabli gram (small) prices.
Meanwhile, state-run trading firm MMTC invited tenders for the sale of 2,000 tonnes of red lentils in the domestic market.
In the national capital, kabli gram small variety shed Rs 50 to Rs 4,050-5,450 per quintal.
