Refined soya oil futures gain 0.84% on spot demand

Refined oil futures prices rose by Rs 4.45 to Rs 532.15 per 10 kg today, as traders enlarged their position, supported by firming trend at spot matrkets on pick up in demand for the ongoing festive and marriage season.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, refined soya for November delivery rose by Rs 4.45, or 0.84 per cent, to Rs 532.15 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of just one lot.
Similarly, the oil for delivery in December edged up by Rs 4.10, or 0.77 per cent, to Rs 539.60 per 10 kg, with a trade volume of just one lot.
Traders said firming trend at spot markets on the back of pick up in demand for the ongoing festival and marriage season, led to a rise in refined soya oil futures prices.
