Refined soya oil futures trade higher on spot demand

Refined soya oil prices rose by Rs 1.70 to Rs 636.65 per 10 kg in futures trading today amid a firming trend in the spot market due to rising demand.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, refined soya oil for July delivery rose by Rs 1.70, or 0.27%, to Rs 636.65 per 10 kg, with a business turnover of two lots.

Analysts said a firming trend in the spot market on the back of a rise in demand for the marriage season led to the rise in refined soya oil futures prices.
