Rice Exports Likely To Meet 3 M Tonne Target

Exports of non-basmati rice has gained momentum with traders booking orders of nearly five lakh tonne.

Exporters say that if the international price continues to remain favourable, the country is likely to meet the export target of three million tonne during the current year (April 2001-March 2002).
