Saria prices rise on stockists buying

Saria strengthened and prices rose by Rs 200 per tonne on the wholesale steel and iron market today on increased buying by stockists, following pick up in construction.

Traders said pick up in constructions activity, mainly led to rise in wholesale saria prices.

In the saria section, Kamdhenu 8-mm,10-mm and 12-mm were enquired higher by Rs 200 each to Rs 41,200, Rs 41,900 and Rs 40,600, while 16-25-mm traded higher by the same margin to Rs 38,450 per tonne.
