Sensex up 191pts; Grasim, L&T, Bajaj lead

The Sensex is now 191 points at 15,492.

Grasim has soared 3.5% to Rs 2,995. Larsen & Toubro and Bajaj Auto have surged 3% each to Rs 2,400 and Rs 2,347, respectively.

Reliance Communications has rallied 2.7% to Rs 582. Tata Motors and Reliance have gained around 2.5% each at Rs 762 and Rs 1,864, respectively.

Hindalco has advanced over 2% to Rs 188. Infosys and Ranbaxy have moved up 1.7% each to Rs 1,981 and Rs 352, respectively.

SBI and BHEL are up 1.4% each at Rs 1,597 and Rs 1,654, respectively.

Ambuja Cements has plunged 2% to Rs 136. Mahindra & Mahindra and Hindustan Unilever have slipped 1.5% each to Rs 793 and Rs 196, respectivey.

Out of 2,539 stocks traded so far, 1,614 have advanced, 857 have declined and 68 are unchanged.
