Sensex up 22pts; Hero Honda rallies 2%

The Sensex is now up 22 points at 14,275.

Bharti Airtel has surged 2.7% to Rs 813. Hero Honda has advanced nearly 2% to Rs 729.

Gujarat Ambuja, HDFC, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Motors have gained around 1.5% each at Rs 132, Rs 1,678, Rs 1,692 and Rs 868, respectively.

Hindalco, Tata Steel, Maruti and Reliance Energy are up over 1% each.

Ranbaxy and HLL have slipped around 2% each to Rs 387 and Rs 196, respectively.

Satyam and Infosys have shed around 1.5% each to Rs 470 and Rs 2,331, respectively.

Out of 2,536 stocks traded so far, 1,259 have advanced, 1,206 have declined and 71 are unchanged.
