Silver moves up in futures trade on spot demand
The March contract rose by Rs 48, or 0.08%, to Rs 62,488 per kg
Silver rose by Rs 56 to Rs 63,925 per kg in futures market today on pick up in demand in the spot market supported by wedding season.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, May silver rose by Rs 56, or 0.09%, to Rs 63,925 per kg in business turnover of 274 lots.
The March contract rose by Rs 48, or 0.08%, to Rs 62,488 per kg in 10,809 lots.
Market analysts said pick-up in demand in the spot market in view of wedding season mainly pushed up silver futures.
