Small sugar ends mixed in lacklustre trade

Small sugar prices displayed a mixed pattern of trading at the Vashi wholesale market here today due to alternate bouts of buying and selling.    

While, medium sugar variety ended stable in the absence of buying interest.

Small sugar (S-30) were quoted at Rs 2,736/2,792 per quintal against Tuesday's closing level of Rs 2,741/2,782.

The following are today's closing rates for sugar (per quintal), with the previous rates given in brackets: 

Small sugar (S-30) quality: Rs 2,736/2,792 (Rs 2,741/2,782)
Medium sugar (M-30) quality: Rs 2,786/2,951 (Rs 2,786/2,951)
