Wkly Review: Sensex gains 500pts, breadth +ve

Infosys guidance and lower inflation numbers perked up sentiment on Friday, and the Sensex finished the week ended April 13, 2007 with a gain of 500 points at 13,384.08.

The S&P CNX Nifty ended the week with a gain of 165 points at 3917.35.

The breadth was positive - 1986 stocks gained and 677 lost ground.
