Former Fulham owner Mohamed Al Fayed has said that the team was relegated because a statue of Michael Jackson was removed from Craven Cottage.
Al Fayed installed the statue in 2011, but new owner Shahid Khan had it taken down in September.
According to the BBC, Fulham was relegated at the weekend and the statue has been donated to the National Football Museum in Manchester.
Al Fayed said that he had warned the new owner to not take out the statue and now Khan would regret removing it.
He added it was a big mistake but he paid for it now. He's been relegated.
The Cottagers were relegated after 13 years in the Premier League with Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Stoke, the report added.
