Amidst speculations over price hike of gas, petroleum and diesel, Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on Friday said that there is no such proposal on the cards.
"There is no proposal like that, whatever prices are at present of petrol, gas and diesel, it will remain same," said Pradhan.
Earlier Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal had appealed to the Central Government not to raise the prices of gas as it will lead to price rise.
"According to the news reports, the new government is about to raise fuel prices. If this happens, then prices will shoot up. We appeal to the government not to go-ahead with this decision," Kejriwal had said.
