Balaji Telefilms standalone net profit rises 148.34% in the March 2017 quarter

Sales rise 48.86% to Rs 85.03 crore

Net profit of Balaji Telefilms rose 148.34% to Rs 12.74 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 5.13 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016. Sales rose 48.86% to Rs 85.03 crore in the quarter ended March 2017 as against Rs 57.12 crore during the previous quarter ended March 2016.

For the full year,net profit declined 16.45% to Rs 30.98 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 37.08 crore during the previous year ended March 2016. Sales rose 10.62% to Rs 284.13 crore in the year ended March 2017 as against Rs 256.85 crore during the previous year ended March 2016.
