Capital Goods shares fall

Capital Goods stocks were trading in the negative zone, with the S&P BSE Capital Goods index falling 248.17 points or 1.36% at 18046 at 13:47 IST.

Among the components of the S&P BSE Capital Goods index, Sadbhav Engineering Ltd (down 4.3%), Siemens Ltd (down 2.83%),Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (down 2.35%),NBCC (India) Ltd (down 2.32%),Thermax Ltd (down 2.31%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (down 2.2%), AIA Engineering Ltd (down 1.79%), Havells India Ltd (down 1.67%), Lakshmi Machine Works Ltd (down 1.57%), and Finolex Cables Ltd (down 1.54%).

On the other hand, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd (up 5.65%), HEG Ltd (up 3.07%), and Graphite India Ltd (up 1.43%) moved up.

 

At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 57.06 or 0.14% at 40288.02.

The Nifty 50 index was down 19.3 points or 0.16% at 11894.15.

The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 108.82 points or 0.81% at 13388.7.

The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 26.11 points or 0.56% at 4639.67.

On BSE,963 shares were trading in green, 1438 were trading in red and 162 were unchanged.
