Real Estate shares slide
Real Estate stocks were trading with losses, with the S&P BSE Realty Index index falling 28.79 points or 1.33% at 2142.2 at 13:47 IST.
Among the components of the S&P BSE Realty Index index, Sobha Ltd (down 5.66%), Sunteck Realty Ltd (down 4.04%),Phoenix Mills Ltd (down 3.79%),Prestige Estates Projects Ltd (down 2.57%),Godrej Properties Ltd (down 1.32%), were the top losers. Among the other losers were DLF Ltd (down 0.77%), and Omaxe Ltd (down 0.35%).
On the other hand, Indiabulls Real Estate Ltd (up 3.68%), Mahindra Lifespace Developers Ltd (up 0.8%), and Oberoi Realty Ltd (up 0.24%) moved up.
At 13:47 IST, the S&P BSE Sensex was down 57.06 or 0.14% at 40288.02.
The Nifty 50 index was down 19.3 points or 0.16% at 11894.15.
The S&P BSE Small-Cap index was down 108.82 points or 0.81% at 13388.7.
The S&P BSE 150 Midcap Index index was down 26.11 points or 0.56% at 4639.67.
On BSE,963 shares were trading in green, 1438 were trading in red and 162 were unchanged.
