China Shanghai Composite jumps 0.65%; liquor distillers lead rally

The Mainland China equity market finished session higher on Thursday, 28 December 2017, with shares in consumer and materials firms being notable gains. At the close, the Shanghai Composite index was up 21.42 points or 0.65% at 3,297.21. The blue-chip CSI300 index was up 0.7%.
